There are so many historical sights and beautiful examples of artwork for you to feast your eyes on from villas in Italy you may find it difficult to decide where to start! Take an Italy vacation rental and you may choose to stay in Rome where you will be able to witness the fantastic Colosseum where gladiators used to fight to the death in Roman times. But holiday villas are widespread and there are many places for you to find Italy accommodation, such as the rural areas of Tuscany and Umbria where you’ll find acres of Italian vineyards. Florence is the capital of Tuscany but it is also home to the famous town of Pisa where you can visit the leaning tower of Pisa and the Campo dei Miracoli. In Florence you can visit the fantastic Uffizi Gallery and some quaint 15th century shops on the Ponte Vecchio. Property to rent in Rome will give you access to the National Museum, the Capitoline Museum and the Pinacoteca Capitolina for remarkable pictorial works whilst the Vatican Museums house many masterpieces. Sicily villas are also very popular - the capital city is Palmero where the Baroque style of very expensive architecture thrived and Taormina and the Etna are well worth a visit. Rent a Cagliari villa and you will be in the capital of Sardinia and will have easy access to visit the islands of San Pietro and SantAntioco. Italian villas in the Campania region are near to the Amalfi coast, the royal palace of Caserta and the Imperial Villa in Capri. So with so many places to visit you can see why holiday villas in Italy have much to offer.
