Rome Prepares for festivities

Rome vacations are among the most popular vacations each year as millions of people flock to Rome to enjoy the incredible sights, sounds and tastes of this legendary city.

Holy Week for Catholics becomes a special time of year, even for Rome standards. As Rome and Vatican City prepare for Holy Week, many pilgrims begin to make plans to visit the Holy City and Rome for Easter week.

Some of the highlights for many visitors include the Pope re-enacting the stations of the cross on Good Friday, and the legendary Easter Mass in St. Peter’s Square celebrated by the Pontiff.
